Join your fellow Inspirato members as we embark on the adventure of a lifetime to one of the most remote—and most breathtaking—corners of the earth. Its landscape is virtually untouched by humans, where whales breach the icy waters, leopard seals roll on the ice, and penguins nest, feed, frolic, and swim.
Aboard the state-of-the-art National Geographic Resolution, you'll travel in comfort and safety, even as we traverse one of the world’s most inhospitable landscapes. On board, the ship carries a fleet of Zodiacs offering quick transport from the ship for shore excursions or getting an up-close look at various wildlife. Return from a day of exploration to enjoy complimentary cocktails in the Ice Lounge or relax in the LEXspa and sauna. Crew members and guest speakers offer presentations throughout the journey to give you an expert perspective on the region and its animal inhabitants as you witness them firsthand. Plus, take advantage of the “open bridge” policy to share the captain's view and chat with the officers and crew.

Experience a variety of adventures across snow, ice, and rock as you embark on zodiac excursions to visit shorelines and remote areas, frolic near penguins and other wildlife in secure kayaks, or even partake in the iconic Polar Plunge and courageously leap into the icy Arctic waters.

Remote Wildlife
While we cannot guarantee that you see every animal, you’ll typically see thousands of penguins (and at this time of year, you're likely to see chicks). There are also leopard seals, crabeater seals, killer whales, and sperm whales.

Along for the ride is the expedition leader, naturalist staff, and expert guides, and an undersea specialist to discover Antarctica's seldom-seen and vibrant marine life. You’ll also have open access to the bridge and the captain, as well as expert guidance from onboard photographers on how to get the best shots.

Cruise Extensions

Pre- and Post-Cruise Hotels
Before we set sail, stay with us at our host hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago in Santiago, Chile. The night of February 10, 2024, is included in the cruise package. The next day, we will fly to Ushuaia, Argentina, and board the National Geographic Resolution.
After disembarkation in Ushuaia, we will fly back to Santiago and transfer to our host hotel where we have preferred room rates for post-cruise extensions.

Custom Trip Extensions
Inspirato Only will be pleased to offer custom group day tours in Santiago prior to embarkation and after disembarkation. These will be announced approximately six months prior to embarkation and feature culinary and cultural excursions.
